Ok, so as a girl, I think it would be easy to answer this question quickly and say "YES! I believe in love at first sight", but the truth is I don't. I actually think that most people expect that answer, but that's not going to happen with me. Love is really complicated, contradictory to what everybody believes. I'm going to try to explain this as best as I can and still make sense.
So when a you see someone you find very, very attractive, this person can make you feel nervous or have butterflies in your stomach. Many people mistake this feeling for love when all it is, is a physical attraction. You don't know that person when you meet them for the first time! So how in the world can you have such a strong feeling such as love? That person may be good looking, but they might be a total loser and not worth your time. Now, a lot of you have probably seen a good looking guy or girl with a not so attractive boyfriend or girlfriend. I'm not a judge on good looks, but we all have our own opinion. I can guarantee you that those relationships were not love at first sight.
I believe love takes time. I also believe that true love means you want to be with that person as long as you live, but sadly very few people share that view with me. Love is something that means you would be with that person no matter what they look like. I think it's a feeling that should be long lasting and not changing from month to month. That's why I don't believe in love at first sight because love is special, and it has to develop and grow.
