This is a question that for me determines who I am as a person. To answer this question is impossible for me unless it is in the moment. I dont believe anyone can really give an honest answer to this question unless they are actually experiencing it. But i do have an opinion towards dying for what you believe in.
For me if I truly believe in a cause, then I would give my life to see it through. To me lying about what you believe in to save your life is cowardliness and would make me feel undeserving of my life. If I had to die an honorable death that may inspire others to fight harder, then yes I would do it. If my death saved millions then bring it. I put others before myself always.
Now I know a lot of people would say I'm self righteous or that I'm crazy. But honestly I would just hate myself in the end for being selfish and saving my own life. That's just me though, and I don't judge people who feel differently because to be honest protecting ourselves is part of our nature.
